Brasil DNA Brings Together 187 Registered Travel Professionals and Records 551 Connections at Virtual Roadshow

Held in early October, the event brought together travel professionals from the United States and Canada, generated 741 lead records, and featured 12 webinars on Brazilian destinations and experiences.

SAO PAULO, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brasil DNA, an initiative created by Global Vision Access in partnership with Embratur, continued its 2026 program with the Virtual Roadshow, held from October 5 to 8, bringing together 187 registered travel professionals from the United States and Canada.

Over the four days, the event recorded 551 connections between travel professionals and Brazilian suppliers, expanding opportunities for engagement and business development between the markets.

Complementing the second in-person edition of Brasil DNA, held in June in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto, the virtual event expanded opportunities for direct engagement with participating destinations and companies, providing professionals with access to information, direct contact with representatives, specialized presentations, and one-on-one meetings.

The Virtual Roadshow featured 54 booths and more than 90 Brazilian suppliers, including destinations, destination management companies (DMCs), accommodations, tourist attractions, and specialized tour operators.

Throughout the event, booth pages recorded 2,795 views, reflecting travel professionals' engagement with the virtual spaces showcasing Brazilian products and services.

The platform was designed to accommodate travel professionals' schedules. Rather than requiring full participation throughout all four days, the format allowed attendees to explore booths, access materials, learn about destination and supplier representatives, and request or schedule one-on-one meetings according to their availability.

A total of 741 leads were recorded through interactions between travel professionals and exhibitors. This metric includes different forms of engagement on the platform, such as booth visits, chat messages, connection requests, and meeting requests or bookings. As it encompasses various types of interactions, the total represents the lead records generated during the event.

The 551 recorded connections complement this overview of engagement and provide a foundation for continued relationships between international professionals and Brazilian suppliers following the conclusion of the program.

The virtual edition featured Embratur / Visit Brasil, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Iguassu Falls, São Paulo, Compass Brazil, and NEx, bringing together a diverse range of Brazilian destinations and tourism services.

This diversity of participants introduced travel professionals to different itinerary options and experiences to offer in their respective markets, ranging from nature and adventure destinations to cultural tourism, Afro-tourism, gastronomy, and urban experiences.

“The participation of representatives from different regions and specialties reinforced Brasil DNA's mission to bring international travel professionals closer to Brazilian destinations and suppliers, facilitating access to information and the development of new business opportunities,” says Gisele Abrahão, creator of Brasil DNA.

Specialized Content to Educate and Empower International Travel Professionals

In addition to business connections, the Virtual Roadshow offered 12 webinars over the four days, which collectively recorded 395 registrations. The program complemented the booth experience with presentations designed to update and educate travel professionals.

The sessions explored topics such as Brazil's cultural heritage, ecotourism, wildlife, LGBTQIAPN+ tourism, and opportunities related to hosting international sporting events in Brazil. The presentations also highlighted initiatives and specialized products from participating destinations and partners, including nature and adventure experiences and Brazil's potential in the context of the FIFA Women's World Cup.

“By combining informative content, direct contact with suppliers, and one-on-one meetings, Brasil DNA created different opportunities for professionals to expand their knowledge of the country and identify ways to incorporate Brazilian destinations and experiences into their offerings,” Gisele adds.

An Ongoing Platform for Engagement with the North American Market

The Virtual Roadshow complements Brasil DNA's strategy throughout 2026, which combines in-person and virtual events to strengthen connections between Brazilian tourism and North American travel professionals.

Following the in-person events held in June in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto, the virtual edition provided an additional opportunity to connect with participating destinations and suppliers. The continuation of these initiatives aims to maintain engagement with the international travel trade and expand awareness of Brazil's tourism offerings.
